<3.10 Some of the advertised features of the van may not be available to allow recommend social distancing.
<3.11> We have read the new rules of 6 and understand that we can continue to operate as :
We see ourselves as a “Covid19 Secure venue” separated from a household.
The priority actions to take as a Covid19 secure venue which we’ve done are:
1. Completing a risk assessment .
2. Clean more often
3. Provide Hand Sanitizer
4. Ask customers to wear a face covering – not essential for those under 11 but those over will be asked to wear one.
5. Make sure everyone is social distancing – by 1m plus distance – back and side doors open when weather allows.
6. Take part in track and trace – customers asked to provide details
7. Turn people away with a temp.
We are also offering an out of school setting (OOSS) which is exempt from the rule of 6 and gives us the ability to provide ‘activities’ for up to 15 children, however we will still stick to 6 players at a time.
To operate an OOSS you must fall within this criteria;
An OOSS is a group, club or provider offering tuition, training, instruction, or activities to children in England without their parents’ or carers’ supervision.
We believe we fall within the ‘activities for children’ bracket and as long as the parents are NOT at the ‘party’ (in this case in the van) and are under our supervision, we meet the requirements to operate as an OOSS.
In summary: We are a Covid secure venue separated from a household taking priority action from government guidance and providing an Out of School Setting. We are also still only operating with upto 6 players.
We’ve done our best to understand and follow the new rules in order to still operate.
